What we collect

If you fill in the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, telephone number, postcode or address, and the description of the work that you type into it. We do not ask for anything else, and there is no account to create.

What we use it for

We use those details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

How it reaches us

The form submits to this website, which sends the contents on to our own email inbox. The email is sent through Emailit, our email provider, who handle it in transit on our behalf.

Spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from a person rather than an automated script. Turnstile is run by Cloudflare and works without tracking cookies or personal profiling.

Analytics

We use PostHog to count visits and see which pages are read. It is configured not to record sessions, and the requests are proxied through this domain rather than sent to a third-party host directly. We use it to understand how the site is used, not to identify individuals.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept in our inbox while they are live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us, and then deleted. If you would like your enquiry removed sooner, just ask and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send that request through the contact form and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
